Restaurant Review: Spaghetti Kitchen, Pune

We review today Spaghetti Kitchen, an Italian fine dining restaurant offered by the same company dishing out brands such as Copper Chimney, Bombay Blue and Gelato Italiano.

AMBIANCE :

Designed as rustic, homely and airy, Spaghetti Kitchen boasts a see-through kitchen, reinforcing their freshness of ingredients and techniques of cooking.

With the gentle tinge of Italian music, the decor sways you to place your order.

FOOD & DRINK: 

A revamped menu now features new vegetarian, chicken and pork options, with the exclusion of steak(beef). 

Pricier than the previous menu, the new options are fewer but more focused.

LEMON ICED TEA

A refreshing tangy punch, the iced tea is a perfect appetizer for the meal to come. The citrusy hit of lemon readies the palette for a sumptuous Italian meal. 

MOROCCAN SPICED CHICKEN PIZZA

Colors of the Italian flag, this pizza features zatar marinated chicken on a thin layer of tomato seasoning and stringy mozzarella cheese!

The wafer thin roman crust provides an incredible crunch. The chicken is spiced beautifully and adds a delicious depth to the pizza.

The pizza however has a floury touch when you reach the end of a slice. The acidity also can be tweaked a bit more, as a bite with balsamic vinegar tasted amazing.   

PAPPARDELLE PEPPERONI PASTA

Pappardelle are large, very broad, flat pasta. Presented in a thick tomato based sauce, it is a delight to look at.

The garnishing of smoky pepperoni and parmesan cheese add another dimension to the plate.

The tangy, saucy gravy compliment the long slivers of Pappardelle.

A brilliant dish, truly a pleasure till the last bite.

Spaghetti Kitchen, is dishing out some great traditional 

Italian fare. Fresh ingredients and great flavour pairings used in their dishes are a standout.

Their fixed menus are also good for those on a budget or looking for standard Italian choices.
