Restaurant Review: Indigo Delicatessen, Vimannagar
Hey from EL the Cook!
After a long break, we are back!
We visited Indigo Delicatessen in Pheonix Mall, Vimanangar.. Not the place you would associate a fine dine restaurant but we chase good food!
Indigo Delicatessen gives us a wide range of European and Continental dishes. However they do not serve alcohol.
FISH AND CHIPS
Crunchy batter envelopes a fresh chunk of basa filet! The accompaniments of tartare sauce and malt vinegar compliment the fish well. An English staple executed beautifully.
SPANISH HAM, CHARRED PINEAPPLE, CHEDDAR AND BACON JAM PIZZA
Super thin pizza, with a combination of light Spanish ham and sweet charred pineapple have a beautiful palette finish. The bacon jam is trendy and adds a much needed smokiness to the pizza.
A Non traditional and authentic pizza!
CREME BRULEE FLAMED WITH SAMBUCA
A french classic, creme brulee served with a lovely crusty surface. The dish lacked theater and the sambuca was nowhere to be found. The dessert was light and refreshing but lacked the punch of anise.
Indigo Delicatessen, comfy ambiance and good food puts this place immediately on Pune's food map.
The service is impeccable, with excellent portions of food.
#ELTheCook recommends a visit to Indigo Delicatessen!
