We travelled to Versailles France to experience the grandeur of Chateau de Versailles, seat of power of King Louis XIV of France in the 1600's.

The cafe is located in the heart of the palace and after a long walk through the wonders of royalty, Angelina is nothing but a welcoming cafe for tourists!






FILET DU BOEUF, SAUCE BERNAISE

A medium-rare filet of beef, glazed beautifully. Served with a tart bernaise sauce and raosted baby potatoes. The meat is tender and flavorful. The sauce is rich and compliments the beef. A lovely precise dish.



ASTARA SCOTTISH SMOKED SALMON WITH LEMON AND CHIVE CREAM

Tender smoked salmon is served with a lush lemon and chive cream. The salmon is fresh and the balsamic glaze adds an acidity to the palette. The mashed potato is well seasoned.

A great plate of food!



CROQUE MONSIEUR WITH LETTUCE HEART

A french classic, executed well! Fresh, toasted bread is laced with layers of smoked ham and cheese. The lettuce heart, soaked in extra virgin olive oil is simply irresistible!
The bread is light and heavenly. Flavor oozes from its seams. The ham and cheese just melt together creating an unforgettable experience in your mouth!


BIANCA

If you love raspberries, this is your heaven. Framboisier pastry reaches new highs with a light vanilla mousse, coating an intense raspberry heart! Topped with fresh raspberries and garnished with honey mousse.

A complex interplay between a crunchy crumble and a delicate vanilla mousse and a raspberry jelly!
An outstanding pastry! 








TARTE AU CITRON

Another beautiful french classic, the tarte au citron is an unmissable dish on Angelina's menu.
Sweet crumbly pastry, tart lemon cream and vanilla marshmallows, make this one dessert that does not disappoint!  



CLASSIC CHOCOLATE CAKE

A rich dose of cocoa, packed in a tiny chocolate pastry. The cake is not overly sweet and leaves a brilliant flavor on the palette after it is done!


Angelina at Versailles Palace is one of those experiences which is close to unforgettable.
The standard of food is impeccable and the quality can be visualized in the food.

The savory dishes are brilliantly executed and satisfied our meat cravings! The patisserie was the true star of our meal, as the look and feel of the pastry is almost crafted in heaven. Combined with the taste, the pastry leaves your taste-buds longing for more!
