Restaurant Review - JamJar Diner, Mumbai

EL The Cook ends our Mumbai journey with the first meal of the day, a sumptuous breakfast!
Finding a brilliant breakfast hangout is a tough ask, especially if you have to travel to the food hubs in Bandra or South Mumbai. Our local feed on Zomato picked up a small cozy location, JamJar Diner on the beach road, Versova, which we decided to try!
The small joint, welcomes you with a super cozy feel, which reminds you of your grandma's old attic. The lace curtains, slanted bookshelves and the sensational old-school jukebox give it that retro feel.
JamJar Diner is ground plus one which really brings in the wonderful sea breeze, and the unique skylight which magically brightens the diner gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling!
It was 10:30 am and we were starting to get hungry especially when whiffs of caramelized waffles hit your nose, its all you can think of!

screams summer quite like watermelon! The refreshing sweetness and the burst of color to the table is irreplaceable!
COFFEE HAZELNUT SHAKE
The morning meal is best served with a chilled cup of coffee. JamJar pulls out an absolute star with its chilled hazelnut flavored coffee shake. The nutty liquid is complimented by the rich coffee really warming your palette for the meal!
GIANT JAMJAR BENEDICT
A JamJar favorite, a giant cheddar cheese waffle is laid out on a bright red plate. A layer of smoky bacon is then laid atop the hot waffle. These heavenly layers are then topped with two gorgeous poached eggs and finished off with some garlic chives.
