We start a new type of restaurant review today called

Its aimed at getting you the information you need about your favourite restaurants.. well you guessed it, In SHORT!

For our 1st  review in shorts we go back to Cafe Mezzuna!

Start With:


Grilled Prawn Skewers in Hot Anchovy Garlic Butter

This amazing little dish, is packed with flavor of the sea! The anchovy butter resonates a distinct seafood PUNCH!

The prawns, cooked perfectly, taste gorgeous with a hit of lemon, graduating to that garlicky anchovy seasoning, topping it off with dill!

Gorgeous Dish.



Order a Wine..



Why not try a wine?
The unoaked chardonnay from Washington is a perfect choice! The fruity flavors of apple and vanilla shine through, giving you a taste of the vineyard on your table!


Then for Mains...


Poppy Crusted Basa, Barley Risotto, Chili Caper Butter

Brilliantly cooked, the bite of basa engulfs your palate with a creamy taste of fish. The poppy seeds add a lovely surprise!

The rustic barley risotto, gives a blend of good ol' country food, so intricately tying the dish together!

The tangy caper butter just compliments the components on the dish amazingly!
