The International House Of Pancakes (IHOP) is a restaurant chain out of the USA famous for its superb pancakes!

With around 1650 IHOP's all over the world, these guys strive to get you the best variety of pancakes there is..

But apart from their pancakes ,IHOP , serves some great comfort food, so we journeyed there to find out if it lived up to its name!

The IHOP at Downtown Dubai has a stunning view of the Burj Khalifa, which makes it a great vantage point and a super comfortable location to dine!

TUSCAN CHICKEN GRILLER

Simple, if done right, the IHOP tuscan chicken griller, is a pleasure to look at. A juicy chicken breast is served between a grilled bun. Melted provolone cheese and sliced oven-roasted tomatoes add a richness and freshness to the griller.
The lettuce is crunchy and the sun-dried tomato pesto adds a wonderful roasted nutty flavor to the griller.
Served with a side of crunchy fries, its a great meal! 

WESTERN MELT

Ah! Whats comfort food without a melt! Sour-dough bread, sandwiches a dual layer of smoked turkey ham, sauteed peppers all enveloped in a classic omelette! Did we forget the cheese? All American cheese oozes out of that brilliant sour- dough bread, bringing a real melt on the plate!
Served with seasoned fries on the side, a truly comfort food dish!

PHILLY CHEESE STEAK STACKER

Philadelphia, USA has given the world some iconic food, from the pretzel, hoagie and the unforgettable cheese steak. IHOP does a wonderful adaptation of the Philly Cheese Steak, with its Cheese Steak Stacker!

The melted American cheese poured over well-done grilled steak and served in an Italian roll, mildly grilled. Roasted onions within the roll give it a barbecue flavor and a lovely sweetness. 

If comfort food has a name its got to be the Philly Cheese Steak!

IHOP, in Downtown Dubai offers a variety of foods, but are famous for its pancakes. We at EL The Cook, wanted to try the comfort food served up at IHOP and wondered if it lived up to the standard.

IHOP serves up some amazing American comfort food, smothered with cheese and fries, proving that they are known for their melts and burgers as much as their pancakes!
